Not even distance can part two souls who are meant for each other. Melissa and Victor met over ten years ago in Boston through some friends. They lived on different sides of the country, but due to other relationships and distance, they remained only friends via email for many years.
3-4 years later, both newly single, they took an adventure coming together for a ski weekend, and fell for each other. While both now on the West Coast, they still lived states away, and grew their relationship over the Skype , and quick weekend trips to see each other until 5 years later they finally found themselves in Seattle together and ready to get married.
Since Seattle was a newer spot for both of them, the vast majority of their guests came from around the country to celebrate their wedding, and these two put on the perfect party to really get to spend time and enjoy their guests.
Their ceremony was at Holy Names Academy which has such old world charm and beauty of older churches, and then we roamed around the grounds for beautiful portraits as well as venturing todo a little climbing for some fun images at Freeway Park.
The Pan Pacific Hotel was the perfect size and location for their wedding holding all their out of town guests and keeping them close enough to downtown for exploring.
Watching the small moments of love and appreciation Victor and Melissa shared through out the day kept making me smile. The small touches the glitter love love and happiness in their eyes when they looked at each other, and their willingness to adventure as long as they could do it hand in hand.
