Newcastle Golf Club | Wedding | Hilary + Bret
Hilary and Bret, it seems were destined to meet.
Both had had their ups and downs in the dating arena, and, through encouragement from their friends, they both started eHarmony profiles. Neither were that enchanted with the people they were seeing, except...
Hilary for Bret and Bret for Hilary.
They chatted via eHarmony for a couple weeks...then they were going to take the next step... talking on the phone!! The invite to talk on the phone was right before heading to Hawaii for Hilary, so they didn't have the chance, and then life got away from them, and between Hawaii and crazy work, eHarmony fell off Hilary's radar.
A month passed, and Hilary signed in to eHarmony to cancel her account, and Bret's profile popped back up. She decided to go for it, email him, and see what happened.
Little did she know, that Bret was writing a very similar email to her, trying just one more time to connect, that same night!
They talked the next day, had their first date the day after that, and then 3 years later... almost to the date (just 7 days off!) from that last email attempt to connect, Hilary walked down the aisle to Bret's open hand and they placed rings of promise on each others fingers.
They are a couple who are so in tune with each other. They love to laugh, and find enjoyment in the smallest things... as long as they get to experience is together. From travel, to family, to "dates" to Target, they love it all, and you can tell, just by being around them for 10 minutes!
Their April ceremony was a beautiful warm spring day. The sky was covered in the type of fluffy dramatic clouds that we don't see very often around here, and Hilary and Bret were absolutely calm and sure, through the whole day. Both just knowing that this is not only the best next step in their lives, but the only next step that makes any sense. As Hilary says "God gave me you"
It was amazing working with the amazing architecture and views at the Newcastle Golf Club for their photos and their beautiful reception. The reception hall was beautifully flourished with the talent of Christiane at Flora Nova Design, a night full of fun MC'd and DJ'd by EventSourceNW, and the elegance of traveling between St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina for their ceremony and Newcastle by a '62 Rolls Royce from British Motor Coach.
For the planning bride. Here's a list of the top notch vendors Hilary and Bret chose to bring their wedding day together!
