Whitney and John’s wedding was such a beautiful event. A 30s themed affair taking place in the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle. Whitney loved the look and feel of the hotel (which was originally the University of Washington, and is still owned by the UW if I remember correctly) as it reminded her of that turn of the century elegance she was going for. I met Whitney at last years Get Hitched Give Hope gala where won my auction item ( a full wedding photography package) and also won the Jason Parker Quartet‘s reception package, and M.Glam designs centerpiece package from the event. She walked in looking to plan her wedding and walked out substantially helping us make our $75,000 goal for the evening of granting wishes for the Dream Foundation.  The fun addition is that she worked with other Get Hitched Give Hope vendors to make her wedding come alive, even though she didn’t get them that night. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is a fabulous Get Hitched Give Hope vendor and so is the talented Seattle wedding planner Jacky Grotle of NW Event Success and her beautiful dress from La Belle Reve in Bellevue .

It was due to all their hard work, and Whitney’s vision that brought her beautiful 30s wedding alive. Congrats to both Whitney and John!!!
