A hidden gem in Seattle is the Rainier Rooftop Park. It's a unique spot for a wedding, as it's right smack in the middle of downtown Seattle and it's an outdoor venue so you get unrivaled view of Seattle's architecture as the backdrop to your ceremony and reception. Chelsea and Cameron knew they wanted a beautiful view and a rockin party for their 200+ wedding, with the plus of being able to bring in their own caterer Armadillo BBQ, they fell in love with this spot.
Chelsea and Cam had a large wedding party, and also opted to wait until after their ceremony to see each other. They were getting ready with different hotels downtown, so I went with Chelsea and the girls, getting ready in the presidential suite of the Westin. Girls in adorable sea-green and white dresses from Nordstrom and nude heels.
The boys hung at the Sheraton looking dapper in their fedoras and red suspenders from Nordstrom. Cameron in Joseph Abboud and all of them running down to Nordstrom to get some help with tying the perfect bowtie for Cameron. My second photographer John Crozier captured all the rowdy excitement of the guys as well as some awesome groomsmen groupings while heading to the ceremony.
A light breeze and an outstanding view for their ceremony, beginning with the emotion in Cameron's eye when he saw Chelsea in her stunning Katie May dress was memorable. Post ceremony I stole the bride and groom away for a quick loop of the block hitting up the 5th Ave Theater and the Fairmont Hotel for some photos of just the two of them.
Back to the party where the music was rockin at the lead of Dru from H206 Events, the photobooth and props were well used, and the delisous ice cream sandwiches from Street Treats were enjoyed. The crowd was dancing until light rain drops (that had been holding off all day) brought the night to an end with Cameron and Chelsea exiting under a banner of sparklers.
