Wine.... Any kind really, as long as it is good and these two are in.

Their mutual love of wine brought them together in 2009 after the very chatty Christine met some friends of Ricks at a NYE party. Christine is one of those people who is honestly interested in other people and loves to chat and find new friends. Her friendly nature convinced Rick's friends at that NYE party that she should really meet Rick.  But what commonly happens, time slipped by without the introduction being made, until Christine happened into her neighborhood wine shop in Kirkland months later, where she ran into her NYE buddies, and Rick.

Conversations blossomed over a bottle of wine, and Rick and Christine found they had much in common. While neither were looking for a relationship specifically, they found themselves loving spending time together, being outside,

Fast forward to this spring, where Rick and Christine brought together their grown children and 100+ of their most loved friends to watch their ceremony at for their DeLille Cellars wedding in  Woodinville. What better place for two wine lovers who unexpectedly found love over a bottle of merlot to commit themselves to each other.

The weather was an expected overcast with rain in the forecast that comes with Washington in May, so they were married under a tent on the patio of DeLille Cellars wedding. A beautiful option when you don't want to chance waterworks on your big day.

The joy was evident, and the laughter abundant as they became man and wife.
