Kristyn and Cris were married on a blustery fall Seattle day. It was October 28th and we were seeing the first signs of winter weather with some major rain storms. They were married in the historic Trinity Parish Church on First Hill. This church has been standing in Seattle since 1865 and you can feel the years of community, prayer and weddings that these four walls have seen over the past 150 years or so as soon as you walk into the doors. It was the perfect place for a fall wedding on a blustery Seattle day. The groan of the pipes filling the church as the heating system turned on, the beautiful light shining through the stained glass windows during the ceremony, and the emotion of a group of people celebrating the union of Kristyn and Cris. After a beautiful ceremony we ended the day at the Canal in Ballard. It was exactly as Kristyn wanted it. It was a party for adults. One where you could kick back and party like you have no responsibilites again. A night to embrace celebration and joy and forget about the little things that life likes to distract you with.
Congrats Kristyn and Cris! It was a beautiful day.
